About Digital News USA

Digital News USA publishes a daily intelligence briefing built by artificial intelligence and reviewed by a human editor. Every briefing synthesizes dozens of sources into a concise, factual report — no spin, no ads, no editorial board.

            Our principle is simple: Tell people what happened, show them the evidence, link the sources, and say clearly what we don't know. Every other news outlet pretends they have the complete picture. We don't pretend.
        

How It Works

Each briefing is produced by a five-run consensus pipeline running on private infrastructure — not cloud services, not rented algorithms. The entire system runs on hardware we own and control.

Five Independent Research Runs The system runs five sequential, independent search-and-analysis cycles using the Brave search engine and DeepSeek AI. Each run searches the same set of hardcoded queries but retrieves and processes results independently. No run has access to any other run's output.

Consensus Synthesis A synthesis AI compares all five briefings and merges them into a single report. Items appearing in 4-5 runs are marked HIGH CONFIDENCE. Items in 2-3 runs are MODERATE CONFIDENCE. Items appearing in only 1 run are LOW CONFIDENCE. Where runs reported different numbers or details, both versions are noted.

Variations Disclosure Every briefing includes a section showing where the five runs disagreed — different numbers, conflicting claims, or details that appeared in some runs but not others. We show you what we don't know, not just what we do.

Human Review & Editorial Every briefing is reviewed by our editor before publication. The editor also publishes original analysis and editorial content alongside AI-generated briefings. Human-written and AI-generated content are clearly labeled.

We don't use anonymous sources without saying so
We don't write headlines designed to make you angry
We don't pretend to know things we don't know
We don't reproduce other outlets' articles — we synthesize facts from multiple sources and write original analysis

About the Editor

Digital News USA is published by William Simmons from Sebring, Florida. Billy is a retired experimental physicist with decades of experience in gas plasma physics, vapor deposition, and electronics. He holds patents, speaks French, Spanish, and Arabic, and has lived and worked across Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. He is a Vietnam veteran who sailed solo across the Atlantic and rounded Cape Horn.

He built this because the news is broken and AI can fix it — if you use AI as a tool instead of a replacement for thinking.
